What I do for fun

I brag about my family.

carol97 [4K] Carol taught (mostly 3 year olds) at our church's kindergarten for 29 years. She says she's not creative, but she retained her sanity after spending the morning with a roomful of these kids. I think she's very creative! She also sings in the adult choir and plays handbells.

but we make a life by what we give.

I've done volunteer work in various areas: In addition to my interests in education and photography , I'm an Amateur Radio (Ham) operator, WB4HLZ.   I enjoy science fiction books and movies, from Ray Bradbury's "Martian Chronicles" to "Harry Potter".    I also enjoy "mind-stretchers" such as the Escher drawings.
